Fossil Petroleum LLC was founded in October 2015 with the sole focus of exploring and extracting crude oil and natural gas out of the Permian Basin. Headquartered out of San Angelo, Texas, Fossil is committed to developing resources using safe, efficient and effective practices. Partnering with top industry professionals and a team with over 200+ years experience in oil and gas, Fossil is able to implement cutting edge drilling and completion technology in order to maximize return and increase our reserve base.

Operations

Fossil Petroleum primarily focuses its oil & natural gas operations in the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin and the Midland Basin of West Texas. Some of our recent projects include the Hamilton Ranch operation in Irion County and the Garey Ranch operation in Runnels County.
